Esitykseni Oulun yliopiston CERH-tutkimuskeskuksen (Center for Environmental and Respitory Health Research) seminaarissa 29.10.2014. Puhuin ilmastonmuutoksen terveysvaikutuksiin varautumisesta Pohjois-Pohjanmaalla.
The recently established WHO Collaborating Centre in Global Change, Environment and Public Health will start it’s activities with a doctoral training course “Climate Change, Weather and Human Health”. The course lectures are open to all interested in the topics.
Lecturers are recognized experts on their fields of research like Professor Colin D. Butler from the University of Canberra, Australia, Professor Birgitta Evengård from the University of Umeå, Sweden, Research Professor Nils Petter Gleditsch from the Peace Research Institute of Oslo, Norway and Adjunct professor Yuming Guo from the University of Queensland, Australia. Additionally, authorities from the Ministry of Social Affairs and Health, Finnish Environment Institute and CERH are involved.
The course is organized by CERH in collaboration with Doctoral Programs in Public Health and the University of Oulu Graduate School. The course takes place in the auditorium of Kastelli research center (Aapistie 1, 1st floor) between 27th and 29th of October. Lectures will be given in English.
